In 1999, after spending a year in Reykjavík, Iceland, Emiliano Deferrari decided to set up his own music studio in Genoa, Italy, to produce his own music, driven by a love of DIY and a certain lack of faith in the music business.
Rattsburg Studio became his headquarters and, after the production of a few CD-Rs sold at concerts and among friends and relatives, it gradually evolved into Rattsburg Records, releasing its first glass-mastered CD, SO_LO, in 2005.
Rome became the label’s new environment until 2014, when Rattsburg moved to Brussels.
Explore our releases: Emiliano Deferrari’s music, along with a few fellow travellers, on CD, vinyl, download and streaming, all shaped by a deep love of music, storytelling, and the occasional beautiful accident.
